Carbonated drink also known as soft drink is a beverage that typically contains Water usually a sweeter and flavouring agent. The sweeter may be sugar, high fructose corn syrup, Fruit juice or combination of these. Soft drinks are made by mixing dry ingredients and fresh ingredients.

Carbonation or fizz is the process of dissolving carbon dioxide in a liquid. The process usually involves carbon dioxide under high pressure. When the pressure is reduced the carbon dioxide is released from the solution as bubbles which cause the solution to become effervescent or fizzy.
